I've always had a dance studio in my life and now, my upcoming debut novel is my "studio". And my characters my students. But before that is available, you can check out my three short stories in "The Truth That Can't Be Told 2," coming out soon. It is a fantastic collection of works by the OCWriters Lake Forest Roundtable and includes one story introducing the main characters of "Firefly Dancer."

My parents, Henry Roland Mohrschladt and Fredericka Anna Reid were a professional dance team who, when they settled in Burbank, opened Roland and Reid Dance Studio in 1954, thus setting the trajectory for many students to become professional ballerinas, tap dancers, actors who dance, stage managers, producers, and choreographers, to name a few. Then, in 1972, my mother and I moved to South Orange County and opened Saddleback Dance Center, continuing the legacy of helping dancers to find their niche in dance.
